Next Chapter Home & Realty opened in May 2026 to bring luxury furniture, curated home goods, and quality children's clothing to Brewton - items residents used to drive an hour for. Owner and Principal Broker Karla Trizzino-Smith launched her real estate brokerage in November 2025 after years in the industry, holding licenses in both Alabama and Florida. The retail shop at followed when she recognized what our town was missing.
Closing The Gap In Our Beloved Town
Before we opened, Brewton parents drove to Pensacola for children's clothing worth buying. Homeowners traveled across state lines for furniture built to last. We're not competing with big-city boutiques or corporate brokerages - we're solving a local problem. Every piece in our shop is intentionally chosen, and every real estate client gets the expertise and attention they deserve. Small-town doesn't mean limited options.
Karla Trizzino-Smith

Karla has been in real estate since 2018, and it's never felt like just a job. Helping buyers find the home of their dreams or guiding sellers through closing on a house full of memories brings her genuine joy. In November 2025, she opened her own brokerage to serve clients across Alabama and Florida with the attention and expertise she knew they deserved. The retail shop followed in May 2026 when she recognized Brewton needed access to quality furniture and children's clothing without the drive to other cities. Her youngest daughter's first baby inspired the initial children's line, which quickly expanded to six different brands in sizes 0-8. Now she splits her time between real estate transactions and curating pieces for the shop, often helping clients with both in the same week.
Addison Smith

Addison keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and on the shop floor. From managing inventory and coordinating deliveries to ensuring customers have a seamless experience whether they're browsing furniture or discussing real estate options, Addison handles the operational details that make Next Chapter function as both a boutique and a brokerage. Her organizational skills and problem-solving approach keep the business moving forward, especially during the busy months since the May grand opening.

Misty works directly with customers to help them find exactly what they're looking for, whether that's the perfect sofa for a new living room or children's clothing that balances quality with practicality. She knows the shop inventory inside and out and has a knack for understanding what a customer needs even when they're not quite sure themselves. Her approach is consultative rather than pushy - she's here to guide, not pressure, making the shopping experience feel personal and thoughtful.
